Writing Things - A Writing Map of Things We Carry

Writing about objects is writing about people, memory and emotions. These writing prompts will inspire you to create new stories, remember old ones and explore the complexity and narrative of things. Objects are clues to who we are and who we want to be. The things we keep at home or carry with us declare our identity and our history. In fiction and memoir, objects can reveal a character's passions and obsessions. Every object tells a story.

The Writing Map is illustrated by Me & Oli with writing prompts by Shaun Levin.
